8th Wonder needed a full rebrand to transform their Canva-assembled look into a cohesive, premium brand. The founder wanted to evolve the brand’s storytelling around ancient and modern wonders of the world, and reflect the sense of awe and expansion evoked by their high-quality mushroom edibles. The challenge? To build a visual identity that felt surreal, luxurious, and unforgettable, while still appealing to a conscious, high-end consumer base in Colorado.
The brand’s new visual universe was born from the intersection of psychedelia, ancient mythology, and luxury wellness. Inspired by the 7 Wonders of the World and the transformative power of mushrooms, I developed a creative direction that blended surrealist fantasy with premium minimalism.
We named each product after a wonder (both literal and imagined):
Visually, I used AI-generated “mushroom guardians” to represent each wonder — dreamy, symbolic, and just the right amount of weird.
The result is a wildly unique and instantly recognizable brand that elevated 8th Wonder’s visual and storytelling power to match its premium product quality. The packaging now sparks curiosity, the brand has a distinct visual voice, and the founder has the tools to scale into new markets with confidence.
